Abstract
In 1999, Neil Leach drew over the French intellectual tradition ,one of the most fascinating critical imagery t to the tendency that then occurred in the city, architecture and design thinking. It seemed clear that this obsession undermined “totally” any socio-political “restício”. Later, looking beyond the “sobre-estetizated” surface, he overcomes the Baudriallardian impasse, complementing his own speech with a “Jamesonian” prospect. The arguments of psychoanalysis suggest to himself that the media coverage and their architectural production can potentially assume a identifier role in an urban world wallpaper. Between Porto and London , we rewrite the “falá-mos”. We thought through critical reflectivity, only interrupted by the Portuguese “natas” (cakes) that have been presented to us in the AA in London.
